Camp Kennel Dogs are some of the best in the country, winning 27 field trials over the last 5 years. So far, Camp Kennels has produced two Field Trial Champions, two Amatuer Champions and four Canadian Field Trial champions. Breeding dogs with excellent temperaments is at the heart of our program. They run hard in the field and make wonderful house/family pets. The pups are bred and trained to perform with flash but relax with style.

If you want to experience what is like to hunt around such fine animals, try the guide service we offer. Our certified Maine guides will take you out on some of the most picturesque land western Maine has to offer for upland birds or white tail hunting. If hunting isn't your style, moose watching is another alternative. If winter fun is more your thing try our snowmobile guide service.

Occassionally dogs don't work out for the field trial circuit but are wonderful hunting and homelife companions. Check out the available dogs page for what might be available. If you really want a pup we have litters 2-3 times a year. Please read the litters page for additional information.

2008 Updates

Jake placed 2nd at the National Open.

We've had a strong fall:

  • Jake took 2nd and John Henry took 3rd at Central Virginia in the Open.
  • John Henry took 3rd at the Patriots in the Amatuer and recieved the Gunner's award in the Open
  • John Henry took 3rd in the Open at Maine.

We had a sucessful spring:

  • John Henry took 3rd at Nova Scotia.
  • At Prince Edward Island, John Henry took 2nd and Woody took 3rd
  • John Henry won the New Jersey Amateur and got 2nd at the Valley Forge Amateur.
  • 1-2 punch at the Mid-Atlantic Amateur with John Henry finishing first (completing his AFC) and Jake finished 2nd.
  • Guen-II won the Keystone Amateur

2007 Year in Review

We had another really strong year.

  • Jake had 8 placements (7 Open 1 Amateur) and recieved a Certificate of Merit at the Canadian National.
  • John Henry had 3 Amateur placements.
  • Solo had 2 placements (1 Open and 1 Amateur).
  • Guen II had an Amateur placement.
  • And Woody got his field trial career off with a bang with a win in Canada and a placement in an Amateur.
